Privacy policy

Who this policy covers

Elmas Decor is a home finishing and renovation company in Damascus. This policy explains what we collect when you message us on WhatsApp, call us or visit this website, and how we use and protect it.

What we collect

What you give us: your name, phone number, the property's location, and the photos and video of the site that you send us.

What is collected automatically: general visit data through Google Analytics: the pages opened, the device type and the country. Also the basic server log the site needs to run.

What we never ask for: card or bank account numbers through this website.

How we use it

To reply to your inquiry and set a site visit date. To prepare the written scope and the price. To keep you updated on the work on WhatsApp. For business records, the warranty and legal obligations. We make no automated decisions and build no profiles to sell.

WhatsApp messages and your consent

Messaging us on WhatsApp means you agree to be contacted about your inquiry and your project: appointment confirmations, the scope, daily updates and answers to your questions.

To stop the messages, send the word “stop” at any time. Your number and your consent are not shared with any third party for marketing purposes.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to learn how many visits we get and which pages are read most, and it sets cookies for that purpose. We don't use advertising tools.

Who we share with

We share what we hold in two cases only: with service providers who work for us under contract, limited to what their work needs (communications and hosting), and when the law requires it or to protect a legal right. We don't sell your data or share it with lead buyers or brokers.

How long we keep it

We keep the inquiry details for as long as we deal with you, and afterwards for business records, any warranty on the work and tax obligations.

Your choices

WhatsApp: send “stop” and the messages stop. A copy, a correction or deletion: ask by phone or by email using the details below. We won't treat you differently or charge a fee.

How we protect your data

We use reasonable safeguards: access controls on the systems that store the data, and encrypted connections for this website.

Children

This website is intended for adults arranging work on a property.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we replace the version on this page and update the date above.
